iRODS in Labs Workbench

This section describes specific configuration options in the Labs Workbench environment.

Available services

• iRODS iCAT server
• iRODS Cloudbrowser UI and REST API server (optional)

Configuring iRODS

• Add the iRODS iCAT service. This has a default zone "fedZone" and the "rods" password is automatically generated.
• Add the optional iRODS Cloudbrowser service.  Set the zone value to "fedZone".
• Start the iRODS application stack
• Open the iRODS Cloudbrowser endpoint
• Login using the "rods" user and password"
