PostgreSQL in Labs Workbench

Basic instructions for using PostgreSQL in Labs Workbench

• Add and launch an application containing the PostgreSQL service
• On the Labs Workbench Applications view, expand an application and click "View Config" beside the "PostgreSQL" service
• You should see POSTGRES_DATABASE and POSTGRES_USER, along with a generated value for POSTGRES_PASSWORD
• You can then copy and paste these values to other services that need them
• NOTE: PostgreSQL is not exposed to the public internet by default - you can use the HTTP Tunnel application to remotely access this service in a secure fashion
